MLM IMPROVES ROADS ACROSS WESSELTON
Wesselton Extenstion 3 and 4 (Thusi Village), 6 March 2026
Residents in Cwebezela, Emadamini, Albertina Sisulu Street, Gumede Street and the Khayelihle taxi route are already experiencing improved road conditions as the ongoing regravelling programme continues across Thusi Village.
To date, eight gravel roads in Ward 1, Ward 2 and Ward 9 have been attended to following identification by Ward Councillors.
The work forms part of a week-long regravelling programme implemented through a collaborative effort between the Msukaligwa Local Municipality and the Mpumalanga Department of Public Works, Roads and Transport.
It is aimed at restoring road surfaces and improving accessibility for residents and motorists.
Work remains ongoing, with three additional roads scheduled to be regravelled by tomorrow, Saturday, 7 March 2026, as the programme continues to reach more areas.
The Municipality appreciates the patience and cooperation of residents as road maintenance interventions continue across the municipality.
